Pink Flamingos is a 1972 transgressive black comedy film written, produced, composed, shot, edited, and directed by John Waters.[1] When the film was initially released, it caused a huge degree of controversy and thus became one of the most notorious cult films ever made. Source Wikipedia

iMOCA has assembled a thought-provoking and entertaining series of films presented by art professionals from Indianapolis-area museums and galleries. Before each movie film, we’ll jump into a 15 minute discussion as the presenters highlight a book paired with each film. Other topics of conversation will include how the film/book influenced their aesthetic, the qualities of an excellent artist, and the their role in the local arts community. Each film is followed by a Q&A.

Admission is free.
